The Kepler system is being developed in the framework of project ADVANTAGE (Advanced Technologies for Navigation and Geodesy), funded by the “Impuls- und Vernetzungsfond” of the Helmholtz Association
The project is a coordinated effort of the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V., DLR) and the German Research Centre for Geosciences (Deutsches GeoForschungsZentrum, GFZ Potsdam) to the aim of enhancing next generation satellite navigation, geodesy and time-metrology products
